About Sanctioni
Last updated 24 October 2026
Sanctioni answers a question exporters, forwarders and traders ask every day: can I ship this? It checks the route, the goods and — if you add one — the counterparty against the official sanctions lists of the UN Security Council, the European Union, the United Kingdom, Switzerland and the United States, and explains the result in plain English.
Why it is free
A first, documented look at sanctions risk should not depend on a budget. The check is free and needs no account. Accounts to save checks may come later; the basic check will stay free.
How the data is made
- Every list is downloaded from the authority every six hours and validated before it is used; a download that fails validation never replaces the list in use.
- Each result names exactly which lists were checked, in which version, and what was not checked.
- No AI decides a result. Matching, indicators and the texts on the update pages are deterministic and reproducible.
- A green result is never presented as a clearance.
Sources, matching, quality checks and limits in detail: how Sanctioni works. Current status of every list: data sources. New designations and removals: latest sanctions.
