Sanctions risk by country

Every country with the trade-risk indicator the Sanctioni check uses for a route, and how many entries on the official UN, EU, UK, Swiss and US sanctions lists name it — as nationality, address, registration or flag.

A graded indicator, not a legal statement: a country without an indicator is not cleared, and a listed party can sit anywhere. Each country is shown with its strictest regime; the check selects the regimes to consider from your inputs in a simplified way. The globe on the start page shows the same tiers. Side by side per regime: sanctioned countries compared.

All other countries

No elevated country indicator — parties and goods can still be restricted. Figures: entries on the lists.

Indicator: curated from the published sanctions programmes of the UN, EU, UK, Switzerland and the US. Entries: the live version of each list (data sources); an entry naming several countries counts for each. A preliminary screening aid — not legal advice. The official publication of the competent authority prevails.
