Estonia: sanctions and trade risk
As of 7 November 2026, the screened UN, EU, UK, Swiss and US sanctions lists contain 15 companies, organisations, vessels and aircraft linked to Estonia.Lists last checked .
Logistics profile: ports, airports, customs, documents, holidays, news ↓
No elevated country indicator for Estonia in the route rules Sanctioni uses. That is not a clearance: goods may still be export-controlled, and parties in Estonia may still be on a list.
On the sanctions lists
15 entries on the official lists name Estonia — as nationality, address, registration or flag. That links them to the country; it says nothing about other companies there. The same company can appear on several lists and is then counted once per list. Individuals are not included — Sanctioni does not process them.

Estonia: logistics and trade
Baltic transit and port hub / digital economy
Estonia (EE) is a Baltic EU and eurozone state on the Baltic Sea, serving as a transit and port location for the Nordics and the Baltics with a digitally advanced administration. As an EU member, Estonia is part of the customs union and single market; customs clearance runs electronically through the EMTA tax and customs board's e-MTA portal (import system Impulss), and import VAT is 24 percent (reduced rate 9 percent). The main gateways are the year-round ice-free Muuga Harbour near Tallinn (containers, RoRo, liquid bulk, grain), Paldiski South and Sillamäe, plus Lennart Meri Tallinn Airport (TLL). Key corridors are the Via Baltica (E67) towards Riga and Warsaw, the E20 Tallinn–Narva and the broad-gauge network (1520 mm); the standard-gauge Rail Baltica line is under construction (opening around 2030). Main exports are machinery, electronics and wood products; key partners are Finland, Sweden, Latvia and Germany.
